She also told of being approached by an on-duty officer who asked for her phone and later sent her sexually explicit phone calls — and expressed his intention to have sex with her.
She later told police investigators of being coerced into having sex with the officer on three occasions at hotel rooms in San Bernardino. Detectives spent thousands of hours talking to people Perez had encountered during his tenure as a San Bernardino policeman to determine if there were any other allegations of wrongdoing, said Chief Rob Handy.
